Faith is a bright and soft-spoken young girl who has just started her Primary school journey. She lives with her mother in Kasana. Her father passed away in 2021, leaving her mother as the sole provider for the family. Faith is one of nine children, with eight half-siblings, which makes meeting everyone’s needs even harder.

Her mother grows food mainly for home use, but the harvest is often too small to sell. As a result, paying school fees, buying books, and providing basic needs is a constant challenge. There are times when Faith misses school because her mother cannot afford the costs.

Faith loves learning and is happiest when she is in class. She enjoys participating in lessons, listening to stories, and playing with her friends. She dreams of completing her education so she can help her family and inspire other children in her community.
